God is an Eternal Immortal Being who is not subject to limitation of time and space as well as night and day. God by His power and pleasure chose to create the world and reveal Himself to His creatures.

God’s revelation is made known with His light in this world. God is not just the source of light but God is the very essence and the Light Himself as revealed from the beginning.

1 John 1:5
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

John 1:1-9
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Creation and revelation of the world come from the Light. In fact, the very first day of creation is the light. This light is referred to as Day, the very first mentioned of day. In addition, this light occupied the entire first day of creation. Light is said to be good and nothing good is said about the darkness of night on this first day of creation. A day consists of evening and morning and night is not included and reckoned as part of a day.

Genesis 1:-5
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

This first day however manifests the conditions of the first created heaven and earth where the earth was left in a state of devastation ravaged with darkness from the beginning. Presence of water was mentioned in that sad and forlorn state of the earth.

2 Peter 3:4-6
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

When God spoke light into existence, darkness as revealed prior to this event was separated. Light came to divide and not to unite. Light and darkness can never ever mix and be in union. This dichotomy is one of the central themes of the entire Holy Bible.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Light and darkness can never have fellowship and there are children of light that distinguish from other children in this world. (Luke 16:8, John 12:36, Ephesians 5:8 & 1 Thessalonians 5:5)

This first day of creation where light is first created doesn’t depend on any other artificial planetary lights for the sun, moon and stars were only created on the fourth day. In fact, heaven wasn’t even created yet until the second day with the separation of the water by a firmament dividing the water body into two parts, one above and the other under this firmament. The Development of Religion According to the Bible

In the New Testament, the word “religion” is recorded in five verses. Curiously, the word “religion” is not found in the Old Testament. This does not however imply the absence of religion since the beginning of time.

Before the fall of Adam, both Adam and Eve knew God intimately. Religion in an institutionalized form as a system of beliefs to compel them to approach and worship God wasn’t necessary. Even after the fall of Adam, none of them were compelled strictly as a matter of form in their approach to God.

The incident of Cain is a case in point. When he approached God in his own way, God simply dismissed and ignored his offering. God didn’t rebuke him. God just didn’t accept his sacrifice and that was all. There wasn’t any penalty for approaching God in a way that was unacceptable to the Creator God.

This wasn’t the case after Moses showed up to deliver an institutionalized format of worship. The moment Aaron’s sons tried to be funny and offered strange fire, they were executed immediately on the spot.

Leviticus 10:1: And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

Leviticus 10:2: And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

Numbers 26:61: And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.

Hence, religion is a serious business and not to be taken lightly. Until Moses showed up, religion before the Global Flood was still free and easy. It was up to men to approach God in an acceptable way with animal sacrifice given to Adam after his fall to cover his nakedness. Unfortunately as the human race progressed, they got further and further away from God.

Notwithstanding, there were still men seeking after the God of Creation, in particular, Noah found grace in God’s sight and were spared together with his family from the destruction of the entire world.

Genesis 4:25: And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Genesis 4:26: And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

After the flood, the way to approach God didn’t really change much. Noah continued with the same worship with animal sacrifice and was accepted by God.

Genesis 8:20: And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Everyone from Noah’s family knew God and knew the way to approach God. There wasn’t any need to regurgitate an acceptable format in this regard.

After the flood however, additional laws were given. Capital punishment came into effect for murder while before the flood, even after Cain killed Abel, he wasn’t put to death immediately but allowed to die like every other man on earth. So killing and lawlessness became rampant before the flood with no penalty and deterrence to compel men to exercise self-restraint. The Talking Earth

Fallen men consider the creation account in the Bible as a myth. At the same time, the Big Bang Theory and Evolution are recognized as science which scientists cannot demonstrate nor prove to be true. Whether the Bible account of creation or fallen men’s theory concerning this universe, both require faith to hold fast to one such model.

According to the psalmist, he wrote about the universe praising and giving glory to the God of Creation. It is impossible for Big Bang Theory proponents and Evolutionists to attribute any praise and thanksgiving to their invisible and non existent creator while they live under the mercies of the Creator God who gives them life and breath until they are taken away from this world. Psalm 19 illustrates the beautiful exaltation of God’s creation rejoicing before the Creator God who brings forth life in this universe.

Psalms 19:1: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Psalms 19:2: Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

Psalms 19:3: There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Psalms 19:4: Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Psalms 19:5: Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

Psalms 19:6: His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Of course Bible critics and skeptics as well as pseudo scientists will dismiss such writings as a creative description of the universe according to the myth of Judaism and Christianity. Writings as such can be allowed under poetic license of the writer just like any other literature here on earth. Sadly, even among those who believe the Holy Book, some would not take such writings literally. Only some devotional and spiritual applications should be derived from them they so insist.

But the psalmist was dead serious. He wasn’t kidding when he wrote Psalm 19 where God’s creation could talk whether fallen men could understand their speech. Fallen men are not spiritually tuned so the Holy Bible is a myth to them. The psalmist went further to command God’s creatures whether on earth or in heaven to praise God.

Psalms 148:1: Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

Psalms 148:2: Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

Psalms 148:3: Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

Psalms 148:4: Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Psalms 148:5: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

Psalms 148:6: He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

Psalms 148:7: Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

Psalms 148:8: Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

Psalms 148:9: Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

Psalms 148:10: Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

Psalms 148:11: Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

Psalms 148:12: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

Psalms 148:13: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Psalms 148:14: He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

The psalmist was under no illusion that God’s creature and creation not only could talk, they could praise God too. But such privilege of knowing God’s creation could talk is not given to those who hate God and reject His revelation given to this world in the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is full of incidents where the earth could talk.

The first incident occurred after Cain killed his brother Abel. When God confronted Cain, it was mentioned that blood could cry from the ground.

Genesis 4:10: And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

It was God Himself who made that claim and not some man high on drugs made that suggestion. It was God who heard Abel’s blood crying from the ground. The language of the blood crying out from the ground might not be a known form of human language but God certainly got the message. How could God who created this world not given His creatures ability to feedback to Him!

During the rebellion at the Tower of Babel, God confounded the language of men. Notwithstanding men could still talk to one another in their own language. Not only talking with each other, some believe elements on earth could record events and bear witness to incidents that happen on earth. When call upon to testify, the earth could of course talk.

Minutes To Midnight

While Christians go to sleep preferring to indulge in their latest toys and gadgets instead of watching for the Day of the Lord, the world watches the end of the world in trepidation. The Doomsday Clock is now set two minutes to midnight. This is the closest setting to midnight since 1953.

Why the world connects midnight with doomsday? This is not without biblical implications. Bad things do happen at midnight. The first recorded incident was when the Lord slaughtered all the firstborn in Egypt before Pharaoh finally let the children of Israel leave Egypt.

Exodus 11:4: And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

Exodus 11:5: And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

Exodus 11:6: And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

Exodus 12:29: And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

Exodus 12:30: And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Not a single Egyptian family was spared from mourning and burying a loved ones that night. Cruel as it may seem, the Lord sends judgment according to how fallen men respond to His dealings. Scientist Turns Prophet Predicting End of the World

Professor Stephen Hawking made headlines again. He turned prophet this time predicting the end of the world.

The end of the world is near so screamed the news article.

He is partially right. The end of the world is near and always near according to the Holy Bible. There are many scriptures in the Bible that put fallen men on notice this will be the case.

Professor Hawking’s assertion was that population explosion with unsustainable energy consumption would lead to the end of the world. By 2600, it would be so bad with electricity consumption that the Earth would glow red-hot.

However, God will one day bring in a massive depopulation program the world has yet to see. It shouldn’t surprise anyone as it had been done before in the past when the Lord ended the previous world with a great global flood leaving only eight survivors to repopulate this world.

Revelation 6:8: And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Revelation 6:14: And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Revelation 8:8: And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

Revelation 8:9: And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Revelation 9:14: Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Revelation 9:16: And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

Revelation 9:17: And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

Revelation 9:18: By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Revelation 14:17: And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

Revelation 14:19: And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Revelation 14:20: And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Revelation 16:16: And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Revelation 16:17: And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Revelation 16:18: And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

Revelation 16:19: And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Revelation 16:20: And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

Unfortunately, Professor Hawking’s theory would fail the test. While the world population heads south, this would not save the world either. Global cooling won’t be the case. We are living in this present evil world that can be caught up so easily by new fads one after another. The eyes of fallen man are fixed on the things in this world.

The gospel is furthest from their mind. Who needs the gospel when Pokemon Go can keep them happily occupied throughout the day of their waking live?

We are entering a stage where the world can be easily manipulated to follow the piper. And the piper must be paid.

Wait till the real monster shows up. It isn’t funny at all.

Revelation 18:23: And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Revelation 19:20: And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Charles Darwin was no ‘Heroic Genius’

Charles Darwin was no ‘heroic genius’ according to a new study saying we can all take credit for science’s greatest discoveries.

This is the latest findings from a joint research at the London School of Economics and Harvard University. This does not mean evolution is the subject of dispute and has come into disrepute by top scientists.

Rather than giving too much credit to Charles Darwin, this paper suggests that everyone has a part to play in new discovery and advancement.

It is reported that we are contributing to modern science through social networks with our “collective brains”.

Innovations from the likes of Darwin, Albert Einstein or Steve Jobs arise through societies and social networks acting as “collective brains”, scientists claim.

Well, it certainly took a long time for scientists to realize that we are all moving in the same direction as far as advancement is concerned.

If only we read the scripture with a Bible believing heart we would have known that knowledge shall increase during the End-Times.

Daniel 12:4: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

We have moved off from the lowly horse carts as means of transportation to trains and automobiles. We have now taken to the skies through jet aircraft cutting short travelling time between two locations unimaginable 150 years ago. NASA is now talking about developing a quieter supersonic passenger jet and travelling time would become even shorter.

Knowledge has increased exponentially in the last century.

This is indeed great news for us.

Luke 21:28: And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

James 5:8: Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Fantastic Trip

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? These questions were asked by God and Job had no answer. None of us would be able to answer anyway.

Earliest Animal Life on Earth could be a Sea Sponge

And why is there this big gap in the fossil record?” Gold says. “This goes to show how much we still don’t know about early animal life, how many discoveries there are left, and how useful, when done properly, these molecular fossils can be to help fill in those gaps.”

At the end of the day, there is still no certainty and no conclusion.

This is to be expected when God is removed from the equation in their studies. There are observable facts out there that could be known.

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. (Isaiah 45:12)

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. (Isaiah 45:18)

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (Romans 1:18-22)

Well, rejection of revealed truths leads to vain imagination and thereby foolish heart is darkened and so this keeps them rummaging in the dark for truths. This is what the scripture has to say about those who are unable to know the truth.

2 Timothy 3:7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Clearly there is no hope of finding truth when God is never in the thoughts of man.

Christians are clearly admonished to reject false science to prevent their minds from being corrupted and doubt the words of the living God.

1 Timothy 6:20: O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

So the next time when whales beached themselves, these scientists should just wait around to observe the process of evolution that should take place any moment. Bucket loads of popcorn won’t be sufficient to keep them going!
