Brother Roger Vournas is missionary to the Filipino people for many years now. He is pastoring a local church on Guimaras Island across Iloilo City in the Philippines. Brother Vournas and his wife, Bing Bing, witness to souls to bring them to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting Him alone as their personal Saviour. By the grace of God, Brother Vournas preaches the gospel on boats and in the markets.

His prayer letters are always full of encouragement showing how the Lord has been using him as a faithful witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. For the past several years, Brother Vournas together with a native pastor had been working on the translation of the King James Bible, 1611, into the Ilonggo language. The entire Ilonggo Bible is now completed and printed this year of 2006. Brother Vournas thanks the Lord that their Ilonggo New Testament previously published in 1998 has given fruit in souls saved and has been good for Bible studies.
